Q: Is Study Abroad a requirement for the Global Studies program?

A: No. Although it is highly recommended, study abroad is not required for majors or minors in Global Studies. For further information on study abroad programs, click here.

Q: Can a student take Global Studies as a minor or a second major?

A: Yes. We offer both opportunities. Click here to go to requirements for a minor.

Q: What do I do if I want to take Global Studies as a major or minor?

A: You will need to speak with Professor Xiao-huang Yin, Global Studies Director or Heidi Spence the Academic Advisor, they will guide you through the process. Q: Where can I find the registration site and enroll ment information for Global Studies courses?

A: Global Studies courses are currently listed under the College of Arts and Letters, AL491, sections 1,2, and 3 for Fall 2009 and AL491, sections 1 and 2 for Spring 2010. Click here to view course schedules.
